Several weeks have passed, since the last news was published on this website. But we have good news for you, our loyal visitors:
The rehearsal room is doing very well. We are in the final throes. Only a few more weeks, till we can say: Here we are again!

The building work is in a good progress. To obtain a view of the status quo, you may take a closer look on the images below.

15/02/2010 - Technical difficulties
Our provider has problems with its network infrastructure at the moment.
So, it could unfortunately be the case, that this page is sometimes not accesible.
Please excuse this situation, the hoster is working on a solution.
In the meantime simply check back more often or penetrate your F5 button beyond recognition.
08/02/2010 - Bunch of News & Infos
You all may have noticed, that the last news is a few days older. Please excuse our lowered activity, but we are working hard on another big project, which dispatches most of our time: We are building a new rehearsal room! Because our old one became too small and clammy, we took the chance to build a complete new rehearsal room. And this will still take some time. But it'll be worth of all the work. After the move-in we will work hard to complete our preparation for our new album. So stay tuned!

08/11/2009 - Unleashed lyrics uploaded
The lyrics of the Unleashed - Demo has been uploaded. You can find them under Thakandar - Liberations or directly [here].
03/11/2009 - Unleashed - Demo spreading
The demo release has been uploaded to several so called one-click-hoster by third persons. This is a very interesting progress, which we support.
There are no legal, illegal or copyright related restrictions. Our demo stands under a Creative Commons license.
So, if you like it, feel free to share our music!
A free download (without DRM etc) is also still available in the Download-section.

Today our demo Unleashed will be released. For further information about ordering or downloading look [here].
Update: We have sold over 40 copies of the 100 hand numbered demo CDs on the first evening. Unexpected, great response!

Thakandar is performing at the Black Metal Festival tonight at Ostbunker in Osnabrück supporting Under That Spell.
